Around 40 members and friends gathered at the club this evening’s for the 2012-13 Division 1 Dinner. It was an emotional week for many at the PRSC, with several members attending a moving ceremony on Thursday to pay respect to Jack Dempsey and support son, and fellow member, ‘Speed’. Many of our members were introduced to sailing at Abbotsford 12’ Flying Squadron where Jack was a member for several decades and Commodore for many years, and they would not miss the opportunity to celebrate the life of a man who dedicated himself to his family, sailing and the A12′F.S.… Read the rest
