| Membership |
New membership applications are most welcome. Sailing experience is not necessary. You must agree to abide by the rules of the Club and any alterations thereof registered in accordance with the Co-Operatives Act. Membership runs from 1st May until 30th April each year. |
| Membership Fees |
| The
membership fee, for the year ending 30th April, 2007, is $185.00. New members are required to purchase 5 shares in the Co-Operative for a further $10.00, which is refundable upon termination of membership while still financial. New members are therefore required to pay $195.00 in their first year. |
| Racing Fees |
| Racing
Fees are set for the 2006- 2007 season at $100.00 per series as follows: Spring Series ..................... $ 100.00 Summer Series ................. . $ 100.00 Twilight Series ................... $ 100.00 Autumn Series ................... $ 100.00 Winter Series ..................... FREE Special Trophies Series..... ...$ 100.00 All Series ........................... $290.00 Notes All boats racing at PRSC must hold a valid Safety Certificate to Category 6, as defined in the current AYF "Blue Book" and issued by the PRSC (or another recognised club if a visitor) and must have current insurance coverage. Evidence of insurance coverage must be sighted by a PRSC officer before a any boat will be allowed to start. Safety Inspections for new members or visitors may be arranged by appointment with the Vice Commodore. Points for the Club Special Trophies events will only be awarded to boats which have paid race fees for the series within which the particular Special Trophies event occurs. It is a policy of the PRSC that all regular crew members of Club registered boats racing in Club events be requested to become PRSC members. |
| Yachting Association of NSW Membership |
| The
PRSC is affiliated with the Yachting Association of NSW and has adopted
the policy that all sailing members of the Club will be required to also
become members of the Yachting Association of NSW, for an additional annual
fee of $55.00. Payment may be made to the PRSC who will issue YA Membership
cards on behalf of YA. The $55 YA fee will be payable along with the PRSC annual membership fee. There are numerous benefits in belonging to YA - contact PRSC or YA for details. |
