Saturday had arrived again with the forecast of a nice 8 to 12 kt sea breeze building slightly in the afternoon. Our regular starter Anne was back on deck so normal broadcasting was restored. The vacationers were still nowhere to be seen, which left us with five starters in div 1. Next Light, who is a regular in our twilight series, made a most welcomed appearance....... An even start saw SF {Still Festering} lead to our first unofficial rounding of Searle’s closely followed by AOE {Axis of Evil}, RGT {Resurgent}, NL {Next Light} and BT {Bush Telegraph}. A nice sail down to Balmain ensued with the chasing pack locked in a nice tacking duel heading up the harbour. SF heading up to the notorious washing machine under the Harbour Bridge seemed to find every charter boat and nut case in large powered watercraft, with AOE and RGT closing the gap. Saving grace for SF was that the rest of the fleet would have to endure the same conditions which would even out the yoyo effect.
