We were greeted by a glorious Sydney day. Winds were light at only 4 or 5 knots so were a little surprised to see the Long Course flag flying. As it turned out Peter and Carmel were right to keep to the program and send us to the harbour. A special thanks to Peter and Carmel for doing the starter duties too, they seem to be gone before anyone gets a chance to thank them. ...
By the time we rounded Tayors Bay the breeze had built further but still provided a very comfortable long run home. The only semblance of a tussle was to see how long we could keep Festering behind us as she stormed home from South Head. It took her until Drummoyne Point to overtake us. Pat did give us the courtesy to come through below. Finishing order was Farrago, Xena and Wind Falls and that’s how the handicaps positions went too.
