- 6, count them, Div 3 starters. Can’t recall the last time we had that many on the water. Great stuff!

Within minutes, the scene is set as AFB and FGO sail away from the rest of the fleet and engage in a series of tacking duels with regular lead changes all the way to Cockatoo.
Desperate for the win, FGO gets a small break away across Cockatoo and sets her spinnaker for the run down the Balmain shore. AFB, enjoying the day out, and a refreshing beer is overtaken by a swarm of Cherubs reaching down wind narrowly missing each other and AFB by inches. FGO on the other hand appears to take them on and head for their mark off Snapper.
AFB holds off setting a spinnaker until Wrights Point Police mooring. FGO has struggled to hold her spinnaker all the way from Snapper and gains little advantage.
Standings remain unchanged for the remainder of the race to 2, 5, 2 Finish, with FGO unable to increase her lead over AFB.
And so it came to pass, AFB puts in a resounding effort to take the win with FGO only 2 minutes behind and FFLY similarly in third place.
Until next time,
The Other Skipper, AFB
