Well, what a cracker the last two months have been! Peter and Carmel’s Sunday Lebanese Luncheon was a huge success, we are looking forward to the next Sunday event (whenever that might be). The racing on both Wednesday nights and Saturday afternoons has been competitive, with great after race discussions back on the deck (including some tales of woe)….

The racing on both Wednesday nights and Saturday afternoons has been competitive, with great after race discussions back on the deck (including some tales of woe)….
The end of Twilight A series BBQ was held the evening that Kurnell suffered that terrible damage earlier in the day. It was such a peaceful afternoon that it was difficult to put both the morning and afternoon in the same day.
The final event of 2015 was the annual Christmas party hosted by Division 1. All of Division 1 pitched in on the night, but it would not have been possible without the co-ordination of Helena Floyd from Still Festering. Thanks Helena for your efforts.
The New Year will soon be here with the following events: 16th Jan Long Race #3 23rd Jan Summer Heat 5 and BBQ 27th Jan Twilight B Heat 1
The BBQ on the 23rd will be hosted by Still Festering (the Commodore’s flagship), so be sure to rsvp Barry or myself in the new year for catering purposes.
Don’t forget, the club will be open on New Years Eve and is a great place to watch the fireworks, both the harbour bridge effects (on the big screen) and the high light show from the barges on the river.
Well, I think that wraps up 2015. Thank you for your support of our sailing club. All that is left is to wish you all a safe and happy new year.
